I’ve been hauled down by unfinished summer work from school recently. This delay is killing me in terms of progress on my business ventures. The most annoying thing of all is that all of our domains are bought and registered.

Just a few more days of reading Stephen King and I’ll be back up and working, I hope.

This is a slap in the face by reality. Can’t really imagine how to manage Websites and do all my school work this upcoming year. Guess I’ll just take that as it comes.

The New Seo and myself will be sure to keep you up to date on our progress.

I’ve been busy this past week finishing up some school work so that I have the rest of the summer to concentrate on my business ventures. Now that that’s out of the way and we’ve acquired our domains, we can get back to work. We ended up buying 5 domains which we will be building into arbitrage (arbi) and affiliate centered sites as well as one content rich site which will be more of a long term project.

I’ll be spending the next few days researching keywords for our arbi sites and getting the rest of our sites up and running. This post was supposed to be about arbi but I think I’ll wait until I have experience actually working with it to discuss it here.

I’ve been checking out all of the opportunities that Adsense provides and it’s a lot more than I was aware of. I had previously thought that they were strictly a CPC network but they do have Ads that resemble CPA/CPS.

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to acquire the new domains yet so today was spent messing around with wordpress and this website (plugins and stuff).

Sorry for the lack of real content thus far; I’m doing a lot of reading but not enough writing.  My next post will discuss the topic of Arbitrage and how it has changed over the past year.

Another good day as far as money is concerned. We converted on a few more affiliate offers. The New Seo has been at work setting up contextual advertisements in various high traffic locations. This will hopefully result in a further increase in revenue.

Today The New Seo and I set up a Google AdSense account, but unfortunately the guys at Google need 72 hours to “verify.” Not too big of a deal though, seeing as we purchased several domains today. By the time we get our content up on some of our new websites, our Google AdSense account should be ready to go.

Today ‘The New SEO Blog’ disappeared and reappeared (to my relief) in Google’s index. It seems strange, but this is not at all uncommon. Websites have been known to mysteriously vanish from Google’s database, much to the chagrin of their owner.

Well, what else besides that happened today? Nothing much, really. I spent around 3-4 hours reading like usual and brainstorming ways to monetize various kinds of websites. Genesis and I have a few plans that are somewhat developed and need to be put into action. Like he said, we’ll be registering a few domains tomorrow which we’ll be putting most of our work into. As the New Seo mentioned earlier, yesterday was an amazing day in terms of achievements. These accomplishment gave us lot more motivation and only added more fuel to the fire.

After tossing around some ideas, The New Seo and I decided to buy about 5 or so domains in the next 3 days. We are planning to make a few of these domains into Site Directories, for various things, such as a Nintendo, or other video game related niches. The creation, editing(fixing bugs), and optimizing these sites should keep us busy for the next few days to come, and hopefully we will be able to create back-links, and reciprocal links quickly allowing our sites to rank higher on Google.

Why? Well first, I woke up to find that this blog had been indexed by Google. Second, we converted on our first affiliate offer. Making bank for the first time is a great feeling.

Also, now that I’ve fixed or figured out some of the wordpress bugs that we had, I can get to posting some of the real meat. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a lot more I can set up with this blog, and a lot more I can learn about the wordpress software, but I think we’re OK for now.

Now it’s time to register some more domains and put our ideas to work.

Less than I should have, by the looks of it. After weeks of procrastination, we finally bought some hosting and registered this domain as our first. It’s a funny name; most people read it and say “The News EO Blog.” By the way, there are actually two guys who post on this blog - Genesis (the guy who made the first post) - and myself - The New SEO.

I believe Genesis explained in his ‘The Beginning’ post, but in case you were wondering, SEO stands for ‘Search Engine Optimization’. Read more…
